Concept Elevators is a UK-based lift maintenance and installation company with offices in Cannock and Runcorn, supporting clients across the country. Their technicians are responsible for maintaining and servicing lifts and stairlifts in a wide range of buildings, making workforce training and compliance critical to both safety and service quality.
The Challenge
As the company grew, managing employee training and certifications became increasingly difficult. The business relied on a large Excel spreadsheet with multiple tabs to track training records, certifications, and employee progress.
While this approach initially worked, it quickly became time-consuming and difficult to maintain.
Tracking employee progress required manual updates. Producing evidence of training for clients or auditors meant searching through files and spreadsheets. And maintaining compliance with industry standards—including ISO 9001 accreditation requirements—required significant administrative effort.
Concept Elevators needed a more efficient, centralised system that would simplify training management, improve visibility, and support regulatory compliance.
